The Women's Department hosted Dame Miller at a head of Women's Agencies breakfast on March 25, 2010 at the Radisson Hotel.

The event which opened with a prayer by Ann-Marie Williams, Executive Director of the NWC, followed with an informal discussion lead by Judith Alpuche, CEO in the Ministry of Human Development and Social Transformation; the Ministry under which the commission falls.

The discussion focused on the work of the various agencies in Belize, the challenges, gaps and the synergies that can be forced to achieve the Oragnization's goals.

In light of the conversation Dame Billie Miller spoke of her Barbados experience in the NGO community and 32years of being in politics.
